THEOBALD, HOLMES, JAY, GUENGERICH, AND REES LITE UP THE NIGHT
Geoffrey Theobald, Brian Holmes, Brandon Jay, Jeff Guengerich, and Duane Rees lit up the night during the CJ Raceway Season Opener on Friday, April 20, 2007.

Brett Timmerman led the CJ Cruiser feature for the first 5 laps before coming around for the checker flag Duane Rees caught him going into turn 2. The two were door to door around the track before Rees took it by a bumper at the finish line. Rees picks up the win, Timmerman finishes second, and Matt Gomez takes third.
Brian Tipps had the early lead on the hobby stock feature with Brian Tipps in second for the first 7 laps before Holmes took the lead right after passing the flagstand and went on to win the feature. Two laps later Jeremy Tompkins passed Tipps for second. Holmes takes the win with Tompkins in second and Tipps in third.
Theobald started on the pole and led the entire 4 cylinder feature with Travis Yakle in second and Michael Frank II in third. The caution was thrown on lap 6 when Devon Timmerman made contact with the wall on the frontstretch. On the restart it was Theobald, Yakle, and Frank II and they went on to finish in that order.
Jeff Guengerich dominated the Pepsi late model feature with Kevin Kile in second. Stan O’Brien had third with Hal Russell in fourth until lap 7 when Jay Chenoweth went low out of turn 4 to take fourth. Guengerich went on to take the win, Kevin Kile took second, and O’Brien finished third. Stan O’Brien earned the Pepsi Hard Charger award and Jay Chenoweth receive the Pepsi Draw.
Brandon Jay was out front in the IMCA stock feature with Tad Payne in second and Aaron Summy in third before Summy pulled the caution in turn 4 and was pushed into the pits. On the restart Jay kept the lead with Payne in second and David Hemsted moving into third. Justin Gesling spun in turns 3 and 4 pulling a caution on lap 9. Jay goes on to pick up the feature win with Payne taking second and Hemsted third.
